Sherpa repair

I’ve had a Sherpa 100AC for four years and have gotten a lot of use out of it. It’s been on numerous back country trips and just general charging around the house. I really like the solar panel to recharge it while off the grid.

I reached out to support, and after a lot of back and forth (kind of a waste of time when I was up front about it being an old unit and I wanted it repaired), all the support person offered was a 10% discount. It got better when I went to the website to check the price and a popup offered a 10% discount. This was really disappointing to me. I’ve been a big advocate for goalzero, and like the concept of recharging off the grid, but to find out that they design-throw-away devices is a little disheartening. I’ve ”stickered” up my Sherpa and would love it repaired…my family has a lot of history with it, and it’s been our go-to device charger.

Recently, the unit has started to flake out and not work properly. I tried taking it apart to see if the batteries might be corroded or just need replacing, but can’t seem to get it apart. Any suggestions on where the devices could be repaired would be awesome.
