1500X USB-C PD 60W not outputting power

I have a brand new Yeti 1500X. I've tried to charge my MacBook Pro but no power goes to the computer. Then I tried to charge my iPad Pro and got the same result--no power from the USB PD 60W port to the iPad.
What am I doing wrong? Or do I have a defective 1500X?

What firmware version is the Yeti 1500X at? Have you done any resets on the unit? If you haven't done any, I would suggest doing the ones on the link below.
