Nomad 20 low power outputs
Hello I have had the Nomad 20 for almost 2 years and it hardly produces any power anymore. I plug it in to charge my yeti 200x via the 8mm port or to charge the Sherpa 100ac via 8mm port. In direct sunlight, the panel barely gives 4 W. I also measured the USB output power and it comes out to just 1 amp. I also have a…

Why doesn't the Nomad 100 have a kickstand?
In looking for a good 100W foldable solar panel, I looked at the Nomad 100, but was disappointed to learn that it doesn't have a kickstand. Every other 100W foldable panel does, so why doesn't Goal Zero? Even though I'm heavily invested in GZ, this was a deal breaker for me. I'll now be looking for a model from a…

How Should I compare/contrast the new Flex 100i and the Boulder 100i?
I want to install a solar panel on my Sprinter Van. I have a Yeti 1500X inside and the van is pre-wired to the roof for solar panels. I had planned to install a cross bar and mount a Boulder 100i but the new Flex might make my job easier. My concern is that, despite the specs looking the same, the flex may not be as…

Yeti Not Reaching Max Charge Level on Solar
My setup: Yeti 3000X Boulder 200 (3) Ranger 300 (1) GZ 4-way HPP Power Combiner All four panels are connected via the 4-way combiner. Medium to strong sunlight conditions. The 3000X is rated to accept up to 600 watts however it is capping out between 324 and 329. If I disconnect the Ranger the charge remains at 324. If I…

Link two 200 Watt Suitcase Panels and transmit power 100 feet

Link multiple 100 Watt panels
Can I disconnect the wiring of a 200 Watt Suitcase and rewire those two panels to one 100 Watt panel and then mount all three individually on a framework? ( a frame which raises them 12 feet off the ground. I am thinking that I could wire them in parallel (all +'s together and all -'s together). I would then run some…

Link multiple 100 Watt panels
How would it be for me to parallel the 200 suitcase to one 100 watt panel? If I want 300-400 Watts of charging power, is it best to buy a second 200 Watt Suitcase like the one I have and parallel the two 200 Watt Suitcase models? I also have a question about mounting the Suitcase models. Is that acceptable wherein I would…

Charging 1500x from a 52.8V foldable solar panel
I have a 200w foldable panel with a working voltage of 52.8V. The input limit on my 1500x is 50V. Would I cause damage by attempting to charge my 1500x with a 52.8V panel or does the 1500x automatically limit the incoming voltage?

Boulder 100 with loose contact?
Hi Until recently, my Boulder 100 worked nicely together with a Yeti 200x. For two or three weeks, the Yeti is not showing the blue battery indicator anymore when plugging in the Boulder's plug. When I turn the plug around or "massage" it a little bit, the Yeti starts charging. To check whether it is the Yeti's or the…

Optimal setup for solar panels on Yeti 6000X
Hi all, I'm quite new to power stations and their solar panels, hence I've got a few questions on my mind. Can I use a Nomad 200 with Yeti 500x?
If so, how, and what do I need to connect and make sure I don’t overcharge the Yeti 500x? The specs for 500x says max input of 180 watts but also shows charging time for a Boulder 200 at 3-4.5 hours. So can I use the Nomad 200 to charge the Yeti 500x and if so, how? Thx

How do it clean or recondition the plastic on my Nomad 100 panel?
3 out of 4 of the segments on my Nomad 100 have become very fogged. I haven't used any abrasives cleaning it, just some dawn and a sponge followed by a rinse. Is there a better way to clean them up? Output has gotten much lower over the years too. Only about 40w on my Yeti 1000 via the mppt on full sun at solar noon.
