Firmware update 1.5.8
Installed the update today and now have my 30amp AC charging restored but trying to bring my Escape Kit display back to life. It powered up fine but its not providing any info or functionality. Any ideas? Release notes from 2024-05-24 say improvements were made to the charging behavior of the HVDC input port: prevent…

Firmware update 1.7.6
Massive list of improvements and enhancements. Highly recommended and a definite upgrade from 1.5.8. The Apple App Store and Google Play have also updated the Goal Zero Power app to the new versions in early December.

Why is the Yeti Pro 4000 AC Output unexpectedly shutting off?
I have a Yeti Pro 4000 and I've noticed that after a 1-3 days operation the AC output port shuts off for no apparent reason. Is this a known issue? I can turn the port back on via the app, but I get no notification that it's been turned off. So, I must continually monitor through the app or by looking at the front panel.…

AC trickle charge for Yeti 4000
is it possible to trickle charge the 4000 with the 120 watt Yeti X AC power supply? My 4000’s voltage and state of charge % seem out of sync. When I trickle charge off my vehicle alternator at 120 watts, the voltage seems to be closer to the state of charge. However, when I use the 4000’s AC input port or my 400 watt solar…

Yeti Pro 4000 Nominal Voltage
So, I had an incident recently where, after sitting unused for a few days my Yeti 4000 started beeping with the CHGMONERR warning. There was also an alert telling me there was a battery fault. The only way I could get the unit to power on was to plug the AC charging cable into the back of the unit. Even with it plugged in…

Custom Charge profiles not working - Yeti Pro 4000
I have been trying to use custom charge profiles on the Yeti Pro 4000, but it seems to keep ignoring them. For example, I set it to max charge 95%, min charge 15%, and start charging when it hits 90%. But the Yeti will run itself down to 0% sometimes (and then get stuck, and wont charge back up until I do a full reset). Or…

Solar Passthrough on the Yeti Pro 4000
I was wondering how solar should behave on the Yeti Pro 4000. I have my charge profile set to Balanced. Currently the Yeti is at 95% so it's above the 90% recharge point. I have solar going into the unit. If I put an AC load it will pull from the battery despite there being adequate solar that could passthrough to power…

Escape Drivable Kit HPP+ Connector
Hey folks…. I installed a GZ Yeti Pro 4000 in my van build — and used the Escape Drivable Kit to connect the 30A Anderson to the 12V circuit of the van, and the HPP+ to the rooftop solar. The connectors provided in the kit with the pigtails have 90deg connectors - so when plugged in to the back of the Yeti, the wires are…

Hello. On page 21 of the install guide there is a caption underneath an image that points to the 30A AC OUTPUT plug. The caption below the image says "You can plug your solar directly into this port. Feature request section for future firmware updates?
Is there anywhere we could post feature requests/bug report for future firmware updates to solve some of the slightly annoying behavior of the Yeti Pro 4000? • if the display is off on the main unit, the escape display does not update, but just shows the last SOC, watts in, etc that was on the main unit before it turned…

How does the Yeti Pro 4000 support 240v and solar input?
I have seen a few mentions of 240v support for the new Yeti Pro 4000 via the Haven chaining option? I need a 240v solution for a water pump, so is there detail somewhere on exactly how to set this up? I have more Yetis than I can even count, but I am very interested in the Yeti Pro home backup solution now if it can…

Sudden Drop in SOC on Yeti Pro 4000
I have only had this unit for a few days but have already been using it in my van. I updated the firmware the day I set it up to the latest 1.5.8. The state of charge dropped rapidly despite there not being significant load on the system to account for the drop. The only thing running was a small fridge with an…

Where can I find instructions for the Flying Leads to Power+ Cable?
Where can I find instructions and a wiring diagram for the "Flying Leads to Power+ Cable"? I presume that this cable is for charging the Yeti Pro 4000. Is this correct? Does the cable expect 120VAC, or 240VAC? Is the charging speed for this input fixed, or can it be adjusted from the App?

Charging Yeti Pro 4000 with Other Brand Panels
I have a set of 8x100W Renege solar panels, all connected with MC4 connectors. There are two strings of 4 panels connected in serial, then the two strings are combined in parallel for a final DC output of max 80V x 10A giving me nominally 800W. Each string has proper fuses in line as well. I'm assuming that I can use this…

Network ID and password for Yeti 4000
How can I change the SSID and/or default password for the Yeti 4000? It seems that anyone who is in range of my unit could access it with the app installed on their own device. Yeti Pro 4000 / Alternator Charging
hi folks, New here, and looking at whether it's worth the effort to hook up 8mm to alternator (12v) on 2024 sprinter? Can the Yeti Pro 4000 charge from both solar and AC at the same time?
The Yeti Pro 4000 has a low voltage DC input, a high voltage DC input and a 120VAC input. What happens if there is input on two or more? If I have two solar panels of different voltages, can I plug a 20V 100W panel into the low voltage DC input and a higher voltage 400W panel into the high voltage DC input? Will the Pro…

Can the wifi range be extended?
I currently have to remove some cabinetry and lift the Pro 4000 out of my van, then move it 30ft to connect to my home wifi for firmware updates. Is there any way to boost the wifi range? How can I configure the Yeti 4000 to power a refrigerator if house power fails (i.e "pass through" mode)? With the Yeti Pro 4000 + Tank, the SOC on the 4000 display
With the Yeti Pro 4000 + Tank, the SOC on the 4000 display only shows the SOC of the 4000, not 4000+Tank — I would expect the readout to show the combined SOC. I am currently in a position where the SOC of the 4000 is 100% and the tank is 50% - and the SOC displayed on the Yeti is 100% - I would have expected it to say 75%.

Bundle sale pricing
Goal Zero is currently running a sale. The Yeti Pro 4000/Nomad 400 bundle is now $4,031.89. That's $32.11 more than buying them separately (which is only $3,999.78). Does the bundle come with anything extra for that $32? Or is it just a bad deal to buy the bundle?

How to view Tank Pro 4000's Net Power, Net Current and C Rating?
Good afternoon. I just installed my brand-new Yeti Pro 4000 and Tank Pro 4000 units. BMS equalization completed, and on the Pro 4000's OSD, tank's status is displayed as 'Combined'.
