Toxic Burning Smell Coming From my Yeti 3000X
Came home today and opened the garage where my Yeti 3000X is plugged in. There was a very strong toxic burning smell. The smell was emanating from the Yeti. I unplugged the Yeti, opened my garage doors and turned a fan on to help disperse the odor. Unfortunately, the smell seeped into my house and hopefully didn’t penetrate my two vehicles parked in the garage. What is causing this toxic burning odor? I’m not the only one experiencing this due to multiple other posts regarding the same issue. Obviously the unit needs to be replaced or refunded if this a frequent problem?

Hi @Brian_71,
We are sorry to hear about your experience with your Yeti 3000X. Please make sure to unplug everything that is connected to the Yeti. Sometimes the power supplies will give off an electrical smell, but it sounds like it might be more than that. Please contact our Solution Center through the link below. Be sure to include as much detail as possible when you reach out.
