Fan noise 500?

I've had two 1500's plugged in for for well over a year and I've never heard a peep from them. Just got a 500 and I hear what has to be a fan kick on fairly regularly. They are all stored in a cool basement area, so there's no difference in temperature or heat to speak of. No lights on the panel indicating something wrong either. What's up?

Are all the ports off on the 500X? Is it just plugged into your home outlet with the power supply it came with? Maybe try cycling 2-3 times and then charge back to 100%. See if you can recreate the fans kicking on with no ports on. Also try resetting by holding units and info at the same time for about 10 seconds. Let go when screen flashes.
