Yeti 700 not holding a full charge
I have a new Yeti 700 is not holding a full charge after unplugging from the wall. After 48hrs it drops down to 71% with no devices plugged into the unit. I have a 3000X and 1500X as well and it’s been holding a full charge after two weeks with no devices connected. Do I have a defect 700 power station?

That seems super off! Is the AC port on after you unplug? If all ports are off and it is discharging that much you might need to swap. After a month unplugged with no ports on I would expect the Yeti to be around 94%. That is in room temp.

Hello again, I have returned the 700 and did an exchange for another 700. The 700 power station was doing the same not holding a 100% full charge after 72 hrs it was 74%. I think Goal Zero needs to re-evaluate this unit. For now I will need to wait until after all the issues are fixed.

Hi @JCorona,
I suggest cycling the battery 5-7 times. This could be a calibration issue between the display and the battery. This will ensure the display and battery are calibrated.

I have a simillar problem with my new Yeti 700 purchased the end of May. Mine will discharge to 1% when not plugged in or powering anything. Plugged in it continually drops and recharges 2-3 times a day. I have been waiting for the packaging to return it for a refund. I own 4 500xs and one 1000x with no issues. After trying to sort through this for 3 weeks with customer support and getting sporadic responses after posting photos I am quite frustrated with Goal Zero.

I am having the same issue. Has Goal Zero told anyone of a fix?

Try connecting to the mobile applicationvia Wifi or Bluetooth, and updating the Yeti (via Wifi required). Once updated, cycle through the three different battery life varients (power saving). Settle one of the ones you hadn't used before. Now ensure that the box is charged to that percent and Run the battery all the way down, plug it back in to a wall (or whatever) and charge it to the maximum for your preferred setting. Do this 4 to 5 times and the re-evaluate the length if time again.
Lithium.. smh.
Hope this helps 👽👌
