Fan Noise

I am very close to buying the 6000x. It will be housed in our camper van and reside under the bed. My previous inverter unit had a very noisy fan that cycled irregularly. How is the fan noise on the 6000?

    Hi @djindepth,

    The fans on the unit do make a low humming noise when running. How often they turn on really depends on several factors. If you have the unit somewhere that will get warm from normal use, then you will hear the fans on more often. The external temperature will also make the fans turn on. The amount of output can also cause this. A large amount of output (typically more than 1000W) will make the fans turn on.
