Fan on Yeti 3000 suddenly running very frequently
I've had a Yeti 3000 for several years now. It's always plugged into the wall and I use it to power a CPAP machine every night. About a week ago the fan started coming on every few hours for 5-10 seconds. Yesterday it was coming on every 10-15 minutes, again for 5-10 seconds. It is not notably hotter in my house now than it has been recently so I'm not sure what would explain this. Any ideas?

@peterseibel,
What temperatures does the Yeti think its seeing?
If hot air is blowing out of the side of the Yeti, there may be a problem that is producing heat.
If the temperature readings on the Yeti seem crazy and its just blowing cold air, it may be that the electrical connection between one or more temperature sensors is corroded or loose the measurement may be inaccurate. These temperature sensors are resistance based and a change in the connection will mess with the reading. My Samsung fridge started doing this and it tricked my fridge into thinking it was colder than it was and my milk sat at 45F and spoiled fast! I was able to reconnect that sensor and added some dielectric grease and get it working again. I now use an auxiliary temperature sensor to double check the fridge is staying at the right temp inside.
