WANTED: Real off grid solar backup power system
Must be autonoumus. No human intervention needed to start, restart, etc. Even after a grid down. Even after full battery discharge. Imagine you can fly out to your cabin to push a button. Also…must not need wifi or satellites. It needs to function like a refrigerator. If power is coming in, then it gets cold. Not human intervention required.

We unfortunately do not make anything that automatically turns itself on and off in this way. If the battery runs out of power, it will require human interaction to turn it back on and turn all the ports on. This is true of all our units.

I would say send it on their largest set up. Add some solar in the mix and you will be good.

I moved forward and bought one of these from REI. My freezers were a bit too warm and they ran the battery to zero over night. The next morning the unit was off…..the 110v button needed to be pushed to get the 110 outlets back on. This is what I meant by my comments above. Good thing I was still at my cabin when this happened. To be suitable for off-grid use, I need this unit to not require any human intervention. Is there a way to configure it so I don't have to fly out to my cabin if power goes out for some reason. When grid power is restored, or, when the sun comes back out….the unit must come back on and do the job all by itself.
