Yeti 300 won’t charge from boulder 200 beiefcase

hello crew:

I have a yeti 300 that’s new that i bought with a soft sided case and a lot of adapters. I also bought a boulder briefcase 200 and a goalzero 20 amp charge controller. The boulder briefcase works perfectly. I can set it up and connect it to my airstream and it charges it and I can charge a friends jackery battery. When I connect the boulder briefcase 200 to the front port with the blue plug the goal zero charge controller simply blinks and acts as though there is no battery present.

The yeti 300 has firmware I updated last week to the latest edition through goal zero and my phone with the app.

the yeti 300 charges from the wall to 100 percent and appears to work fine.

I don’t know why the blue plug I purchased from goal zero for the input to the yeti 300 isn’t registering.

what I know is that the battery works fine to charge from the wall using the port from the back, the boulder 200 with goal zero 20 amp charge controller works great to charge the airstream and a jackery battery. But I can’t get the yeti to charge from the boulder 200. I purchased the set of stuff because it was supposed to work together. Could there be something I’m doing wrong?

thanks so much

@Jvstjohntexas when attempting to charge the Yeti 300 from the boulder 200, do you have the charge controller in-line? (The Yeti has a built in MPPT charge controller, and won't work the the 20A charge controller, this is designed to charge 12v lead acid batteries from the panels. ) You Just need to connect the HPP from the panel, via a HPP to 6mm (blue) into the Yeti 300.

If that's not the issue then it woulds like your yeti has a problem, so best to contact Goal Zero to arrange a replacement.
