Yeti 500 Dead, Not Charging

Yes I have contacted the customer support line but have not heard from them since I gave up on a phone call Monday and still not received an email reply.


I have a Yeti 500 that has been plugged into AC power since I bought it in June (as recommended by the website), it has not been used other than some testing with the solar panels and the Skylight. It was charging normally when it was used. It was left on while charging for a while now but Monday it was making a high-pitched sound and I went to investigate to find it was at 0% and not charging. I checked the AC plug and it was still working. When unplugging and plugging it back in the input power would show slowly increasing from 0W to 20W over about 5 seconds then drop back to 0W and not increase. There is an icon in the screen with an “!” over a battery.

I tried a different outlet, no change.

I restarted the Yeti using the app, no change.

It has been unplugged since Monday. Plugging back in today shows around 20W of input power put no amps shown through the app. Fan is occasionally running but the unit still appears to not be charging.
