Help? Goal Zero 1500x won't charge
Any ideas how to get the Goal Zero to come back to life? Already reached to GZ support and followed their instructions. The intructions were to plug the charging cable and plug the USB C 60w to it to trickle charge (both to the wall outlet). When plugged in the way, the LCD turns on and off while beeping. Let it charge for 24 hours and it did nothing. Already passed warranty so GZ said they cannot do anything besides offer a discount for new one. Disappointed given how much it cost. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. Hoping this thing comes back to life somehow. Thank you!

Sorry to hear about this. I’m not sure if this will help but I can share my thoughts having dealt with a few Yeti’s along the way.
Are you sure it was charting off of the plugged in USB C 60w? I understand it “woke up” but you didn’t say it really indicated it was charging. While it was plugged in did you try to the reset strategies? I know there are a few; pressing the “Units” and “Info” should do a hard reset. It may take a number of tries and you’ll only know it worked by getting some audible noises and perhaps normal behavior (not what you describe above).
The last thing I’ve done a while ago (I forget the particular issue) was take the bottom off and remove one of the terminals. Something about disconnecting the battery (and shutting down the interface completely) was supposed to help. I’m not sure if it helped for my issue but if I recall correctly my unit was still under warranty.
As you know there may also be a number of useful videos on YouTube if you have the time. Like this one:
Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! I was actually able to get it to charge finally! I was using my MacBooks Pro USB C cable and brick to the 60W port and it would just have the unite blink and beep, but no charge.
I ordered a 100w USB C charging cable to try and this worked! It woke the unit up and started to get charge from the 8mm plug.
GZ should recommend the type of USB C cable when troubleshooting this. If I didn't try the 100W cable, I would have trashed the unit.
