Chaining nomad 20 and nomad 50 with Sherpa 100pd previous model
Hi,
I know it is possible to chain the Nomad 20 and Nomad 50 panels.
But I’m not sure if I can safely connect them with the Sherpa 100 pd (previous model) without damaging it if they are chained. Next by the USB input port on the Sherpa i see the text: in/out 60 Watt. If I chain the panels the max output will be 70 watt( I think?).
So before chaining I like to be sure if it’s safe to do that.
Thanks.

yes they can be chained together and if its a sunny day and the panels are able to max out to 70w it would exceed the max input of your Sherpa 100pd.
what you could expect happening in this scenario: The Sherpa 100pd is likely to throttle the input to protect itself, or it may not charge at all.
✅If you are set to do this buy a solar charge controller or voltage limiter so that it won’t exceed 60wBest option is to pick one only nomad 20 or 50
