HPP not working with Yeti 1000X? Am I missing something?
Purchased a new Nomad 200 to charge my 1000X with. Super bright sunny day so figured I would break it out of the box right after it was delivered and try it out. I previously had a Nomad 100 and while it did a great job of charging, it couldn't keep up with my consumption. I plugged in my Nomad 200 and input showed 0. With my 100 it seemed to be a little picky the first couple of times so I unplugged/plugged it in a couple times but no luck - always input 0. I verified I get a blue light on the back of the Nomad and blue light on the 1000X. I reset the 1000X both with the panel plugged in and with it out and again, no luck.
How can I tell if I just received a DOA panel or there is something wrong with the HPP on the 1000X? Anyone else with a 1000X use the HPP with success? I'm guessing so but any feedback would be helpful. I put a ticket in with GoalZero but it takes a long time to get a response.

Hello @howlingthunder
I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with the panel and contacting our Solutions Center. We have been rather busy with emails and calls so feel free to give them another call. Something you can try and confirm is if another HPP source like a fast charger or another 200W solar panel works. If it does, it means you have a defective panel. If it doesn't, it means you have an issue with the unit and you should try the below resets.
- SOFT RESET: Push and hold the RESET button for 5 seconds or until the screen flashes. Then let go.
- The RESET button is located under the lid inside of a green circle.
- FACTORY RESET: Push and hold the UNITS and INFO buttons at the same time. Hold them for 10-15 seconds or until you see the wifi sign flashing by itself.
- You may see the letters UPD and the battery percentage counting from 0 to 100. This reset will be complete when you see both wifi and Bluetooth flashing together.
- BATTERY RESET: Push and hold the RESET and INFO buttons at the same time. Hold for 5-6 seconds. The screen will go black and the unit will be unresponsive for 30-120 seconds. It will boot up by itself after a couple of minutes.
If you don't have one of these, let our Solutions Center know when you reach back out to them and that you have been contacting us on the Community.
