Yeti 1500x. 2x 400w panels in parallel, under 50v?

in SOLAR PANELS

will it damage the yeti 1500x if I connect 2x 400w panels in parallel, connected to the Anderson input on front? This set up will stay well below 50 V and is unlikely to exceed 600 W.


panels have

37v open circuit

13.78a short circuit current

    Hello @ElektrikHouse ,

    Not knowing what panels you have we are not able to guarantee compatability if they are 3rd party but those Voltage and Amperage numbers are within the limits of the 1500x. Make sure your wires are also good to handle that and you should see it work just fine.
