Yeti Pro 4000 App Issues

I have had my the Pro 4000 with 1 expansion tank now for about 4 weeks. I put it into my sprinter and am learning on the road as I travel with it.

I cannot figure out wifi connection on the 4000.

I want to be able to monitor history and also have remote control capabilities. I have Internet in the sprinter.

I put the app on 2 different phones, but cannot see the Yeti show up as a wifi network. I held the Bluetooth/ Wi-Fi button on the back until it blinked and beeped, but still ok sign of this device as a local wifi SSID.

I found a Wifi Menu on the Yeti itself, but dont know if there is anything I can do to make it work using that menu. I have not found any documentation easily that describes the menus and settings that are available on the device.

Thanks for any help!

    Hello @BambooRV ,

It looks like there is a misconception about the Yeti and its connectivity. The Yeti does have a wifi and bluetooth chip/antenna in them however, it does not provide a wifi network. What it does is, using the app, it can connect to your phone via bluetooth or an existing wifi network. Using the app, you can monitor the unit or turn the individual ports off and on. If you are using the Direct Connect (bluetooth) function, you have about 50ft of range before it disconnects. With the Cloud Connect (wifi) function, as long as your Yeti has the internte connection and your phone internet, you can control it. Here is a link to instructions for pairing on our Github Public Wiki.
