Firmware update 1.7.6
Massive list of improvements and enhancements. Highly recommended and a definite upgrade from 1.5.8.
The Apple App Store and Google Play have also updated the Goal Zero Power app to the new versions in early December.

My 4000 doesn't show the 1.7.6 update as being available. Any tips on how to get it to update?

My update process is ugly. It's on the "Firmware update 1.5.8" thread so I won't repeat it here.
I've not tried it yet but there is a new user guide with troubleshooting and firmware update instructions here:
Home > Support > User Guides > Yeti PRO 4000 & Tank PR0 4000 Troubleshooting Guide
Force a Firmware Update
If the Yeti attempts and fails to update—or if you need to manually update from the Yeti itself—ensure it is connected to a 2.4 GHz network with Internet access. Press and hold down the PAIR button for 10 seconds. After the Yeti beeps a second time, let go of the button; the Yeti will then attempt an update. -
… and just where is the PAIR button on the 4000 Pro? I don't see it as a physical button on the front panel, and I don't see it described in the user manual. Turns out it's on the back panel under the right-hand (looking at it from the back) flip-up door.

I should have mentioned that the PAIR button is your friend. Keep it accessible and get used to using it, often. It's got many uses: forcing a firmware update, internal resets, and just simply getting the mobile app to 'see' the Yeti via Bluetooth or wifi.
Any luck with the new update process? Were you able to install 1.7.6? (I installed 1.7.6 months ago before they removed it and reverted back to 1.5.8)

Hadn't had occasion to use the PAIR button since I first set the thing up. Nice to know some of its functionality. I tried the 10-second press until the system had beeped twice. Afterward the system stayed on 1.5.8, and 1.7.6 still did not show up as an option. I'll wait a bit and watch for it.

Looks like 1.7.6 was recalled and firmware 1.7.7 is available 12/16/24.
I was successful in my 1.7.7 install … with one major hiccup. GZ states in their troubleshooting guide their devices need a 2.4 GHz wifi signal. My newer router transmits on BOTH 2.4 and 5 GHz (split band). My Yeti couldn't lock in on the 2.4 signal and would time out. Luckily I still had my old 2.4 GHz router and once I switched to it, the 'cloud connect' piece worked fine. There are likely ways to shut off the higher 5 GHz band in your router settings but this worked for me.
