Yeti 700 and Propane Heater Troubleshoot

For the heater, it’s a 1987 propane heater in our old slide in camper that uses a small amount of electricity for the thermostat, fan, and main burner igniters. Here’s the weird problem: when we use the Yeti 700 to fire it up, sometimes the main burners ignite and sometimes, more often, they don’t. We can see the power draw spike sometimes to 67w when it does work. Otherwise when it’s just the thermostat and fan using power it clocks in at 47w. All in all the power draws required seem well within the limits of the 700. Any ideas about this intermittent activity?
