    The Yeti 6000X comes with an internal MPPT charge controller allowing up to 600W of input power.

    You can add that add-on MPPT module to add about 300W of more input power since that EC8 port ties right to the lithium pack inside the Yeti 6000X and will not go through the internal MPPT charge controller that the HPP input port on the 6000X faceplate connects to. Its an optional add-on for the yeti power stations with X in the name. The older generation Yetis like the Yeti 1000 or 1400 only had PWM charge controllers. Read more about PWM vs MPPT here
