3000X and link question.

I use a 3000X to power my camper. I have two solar panels that gives around 40V. I just installed a link module to the truck and it give me 12V to 14V.
My question is….the 3000X has a 50V max on the Anderson where my panels are. With the link 14V, do I go over the limit or the link has it’s own separate max voltage from the the 3000X.

Hi @Lefin
The Yeti Link acts as a separate charge controller from the built in MPPT charge controller in the Yeti. The literature on the Yeti Link Module it says to never exceed 22v. It is my understanding that as long as you do not exceed the voltage on the HPP input and the Yeti Link Module you will not experience any issues.
@jg164 Any insight on this? It seems like you really know about their products based off other posts I have seen you in.

So I eared from GoalZero today. The 50V and the 22V are separate. So, no problems going up to 50 on the Yeti and up to 22 on the link.
Thanks Zion for your input, it’s appreciated.

The 8mm port on the Link only charges attached Tanks. If you want to charge the tanks with more than 120W we offer a 30 Amp charge controller that will directly charge the Tanks from up to 440W of solar. Its also the best way to get more than 50V (up to 100V) solar integrated with a Yeti system.
