Rust of metal parts Yeti 400

Why does Goal Zero use metal parts for Yeti 400 (and others?) who rust by using it inside a campervan : screws on top and 12V socket? How simpel to choice for corrosion resistant parts. Of course, nowadays, the fault = the customer. Other metal parts in the campervan do NOT rust.
