How important is battery cycling

If I'm looking at the 6000x + 4 tank kit for emergency home backup how important it s it to occasionally drain and recharge the tanks? I can imagine using the 6000x in various ways to cycle the battery but if I don't have a power interruption for a long period of time what's the best way to keep the tank batteries healthy?

It is very important to cycle the batteries, since this will make sure they are able to maintain their charge. You will want to cycle the batteries at least once every 3-6 months. Typically when you cycle it, we suggest using it the way you intend to use. This is to make sure that everything is still working properly while at the same time, maintaining the battery.
