Is there a way to force charging with a Flip?
I recently tried charging a Garmin watch with a Flip 24. The watch charged to about 70% then the fully charged Flip powered down. If a pressed the Flip’s button, the watch started to charge again but only for about a minute before the Flip powered down again. I assume this was due to the low power draw from the watch. I know some systems have a way to force charging on low current draw devices. Is this available on the Flips??
thanks!
BTW - I tried charging with a Flip 36 too and got the same results.

Hi @CJW
Unfortunately there is no way to force the Flip 24 or any of our Flip series to output with such a small draw of power. You would need to purchase the Venture 35, which does not shut off with a small power draw. The USB port remains active until it runs out of power. You can find a link to the Venture 35 below.
