Can I safely charge a Flip 36 on a Nomad 100?
Will any of the power bank items be damaged by charging them with higher output devices? For example the maximum output of a Nomad 100 is much higher than the max input of the Flip 36. Would than cause any short or long term damage to the Flip 36?

Hi @Bob ,
Since these devices are charged via a USB type connection, the input power is regulated by the USB. This means that even if you were to use a 200W panel, the USB will limit it to a max of 15W coming from the panel. There should be no way of damaging the Flip 36 unless the USB is malfunctioning.

I received a Flip 36 power bank as a gift. The directions indicate that it must be charged with a Nomad 7 Solar Panel. According to your site, this panel is out of stock. Is there another way to charge the power bank so I can use it?

Hi @arbree1,
You can use a USB block or the Nomad 5. Either one of those would work.
