Fix for Sherpa 100AC and Topsolar SolarFairy 60W
The foldable SolarFairy is a great combination with the Sherpa 100AC, folding down to nearly the same footprint of the Sherpa. The issue is, the Sherpa is not resuming full charging after some clouds passed over the sky, it keeps being stuck at below 10W charging until the panel is disconnected and reconnected again.
Is there a way to update the firmware of the Sherpa 100AC? Currently on Firmware 3.18.
Many many thanks! Love the combo and would be really great to get it to work together better.

Hi @Yoko,
The Sherpa 100AC is tested for panel shading recovery with Goal Zero solar panels.
Please contact the seller of the SolarFairy panels to see if there is something they can help with.

Can confirm it is an issue with the Sherpa 100AC (2nd gen). The same solar panels work flawlessly with the newest version of the Sherpa 100AC (3rd gen) and all Bluetti batteries.

Glad to here the 3rd gen Sherpa 100AC does not have the same limitation!
I'll pass that info on the previous gen Sherpa to the engineers. Looks like a review of the 100W SolarFairy panel on the Amazon listing is saying the same thing.

Great! The panel is actually fine, and the shading issue only occurred for me on the 2nd gen. Sherpa 100ACs.
The sweet thing is, it makes a great combination with the Sherpa. Given that it is just slightly bigger than the Sherpa when folded it goes into every backpack and gives a powerful 60W of solar charge. Great combo for really remote work ;-)
