I have a 25A power supply for the Yeti 3000 (NOT X) that has failed.
It says the output is 13.8V at 25A, but the Yeti says the input can only be between 14 and 22 volts. It also says that you cannot charge the Yeti from a car without using their adapter, because the voltage would be too low. The car adapter raises the voltage to over 15V for charging the Yeti. So can I use a 25A 13.8V charger for the Yeti, or does the 25A power supply actually raise the voltage above 13.8V when it is charging?
I bought a Mean Well ENP-360-12 power supply. which also says it puts out 13.8V at 26A, and which a comment somewhere else says is what the 25A power supply actually uses (it looks identical). It does not have the right connectors, but it says it is the same output. I have not been able to open the old power supply yet, as the top is apparently glued to the heat sinks inside.
If anyone has a Goal Zero 25A power supply that works, is the output actually 13.8V or is it boosted?

Hi @Rajemez,
Our 25A power supply outputs at 15.6V up to 25A. There might be a misprint on the one you have. On the link below you will see the tech specs under ports.
I can't speak for the third party charger, but if it says that it produces less than 14V, then it may not work.

Here are two pictures of my charger, both the top and the bottom labels. Both say 13,8V. If it had not failed, I could measure the voltage.

But are you saying that if I could boost the voltage to 14V, then it would work?

Hi @Rajemez,
Yes, the Yeti accepts input power at a minimum of 14V through the charge controller. If you could boost it to 14V, it should work.
