Will a Lithium Iron battery work in a Yeti 1250?

I have a Yeti 1250 in which the original battery has failed. It is a 12V 100 amp hour AGM lead acid type. Can the battery be changed to a lithium iron chemistry of the same voltage and amp hour rating?

    Hi @GRS1st,

    Unfortunately no. The charge controller setting is for a lead acid battery and it is not something that you can change. If you were to connect a lithium battery to it, it could lead to over charge or under charge of the battery. We strongly recommend against using a lithium battery in the Yeti 1250.
