Connecting a power system to my van
Im in the process of converting my Sprinter Van and would prefer to use one of these systems to power everything vs having a battery bank system. I plan on using one of the Yeti 3000 or 6000 to power the van, then back up my house when I'm not in the van. Im trying to figure out the best way to wire the van to operate of the Yeti pack. Ill have a decent size mini fridge and a small microwave. I haven't decided if I will get a gas oven or an electric one and the same with the hot water system. I was just thinking of running a couple of surge protectors off the Yeti, giving me multiple outlets. Or wiring in outlets that end as a 3-prong plug, if that's a possibility. Any suggestions would help.

Hi @WAvanlife_2022,
This will work as long as you do not exceed the maximum output of the Yeti AC inverter, which is 2000W. If you stay within that maximum, then there should be no issue.
If you are mainly going to be running off the Yeti, We would suggest using a gas water heater and a gas stove. Electric ones tend to use more than the max output of the Yeti.

This is very helpful. Would you be able to supply a list of items I would need to purchase from GZ for the Yeti6000 to power my house and van? I would like to charge off the van while driving and solar while parked. I would also like to be equipped to charge offshore power. Thanks again for all the help.
