    Absolutely!

I've discovered we have too much shade in our yard for me to set up and leave my big 200w briefcase panels in one place for many hours. If that wasn't the case, I'd set up my panels in the back yard and use them to pass-through charge/power lots of devices in our house via our 1500 or 1000 batteries. My brother in law does this frequently (runs their refrigerator, etc. via panels and a Yeti 3000) to save on their electric bill.
