Yeti Link 2021 Sprinter with Aux Battery
2021 Sprinter w/the Auxiliary battery under passenger seat. Can I connect my Yeti Link to the aux battery? It say NOT to install a secondary battery between the battery and the yeti link. The aux battery disconnects from the starter battery upon shutdown so current would only be flowing while the engine is on. The yeti would also, I assume, in vehicle mode disconnect itself when the alternator stops flowing and the engine is off. Can anyone explain why or the possible pros and con to this setup? Thanks

I have this question also.
Where are the instructions not to install a second battery between the link and the vehicle battery?

yeti link user guide... page 12
"DO NOT have a secondary battery in between the link module and the vehicle alternator or main battery"
That sounds pretty specific but I dont understand why. Seem like the current should pass through both.
Perhaps they mean a storage battery? Not really sure..
My local build out vendor said why dont I just connect to the main starter battery. Technically that is still a battery in between...??
