Does my Yeti 3000X have the following specifications to qualify for my electrical provider's transfer switch requirement for a backup generator? They are offering a free transfer switch for my house but only if my generator (Yeti 3000X) meets or exceeds their specification requirement.

This is the required spec:

30A, 120V/240V with standard NEMA L14-30P plug portable generator with over current protection

Hey, I have that Generator, the outputs are the 2 AC adapters in the front, they are 120V and 16.5 Amps with a max surge of 3500Watts, and running 2000Watts. I have seen people get an adapter to use both ports at the same time but that is a No Go! You can just get the Home integration kit, it comes with a Nema 1R Plug and it will power 4 120v Circuits, 15 amps each. Also you can get a second Home integration kit and use it at the same time.

I sure wish there were a way to safely do it without burning the generator... hope this helps and good luck.
