Nomad 20 as charge maintainer

Is there anyway to use a Nomad 20 to maintain my lead acid boat batteries.

There is nothing available on the Goal Zero website that enables this, so is this solar panel the wrong choice? or is there some way to jury rig it with non-standard components?

It appears that Goal Zero solar panels only work if you use an expensive Goal Zero battery pacl

Hello Julian,

You would also want to use a charge controller to connect a solar panel directly to a Lead acid battery. This will prevent overcharging the battery.
