What is required to hook up a 660w solar array to a 1500x?

My measured Voltage output from the panels with cloud coverage is 131v which is too much for the 1500x (50v) max. So, is it recommended that I use a specific charge controller or wire in parallel instead of series?

    Hi @Snowden,

    It is recommended to wire in parallel to stay below the 50V limit. We would suggest trying to keep the voltage at about 31-33, as that is the optimal voltage for the charge controller in the Yeti 1500X.

    Unfortunately, you would not be able to use an external charge controller since the Yeti has one that is permanently installed.
