Air conditioner on camper

Has anyone used the 3000x with panels to run an rv/camper air conditioner? If so any luck? How long did it run?

    Hi @Lsmith,

It really depends on the type of A/C unit you have. For a small bedroom, a 5,000 BTU window unit should only use 450 watts. A mid-size 8,000 BTU AC should use fewer than 715 watts. A big 14,000 BTU air conditioner should only use 1,250 watts. Although these will run on the Yeti 3000X, they are typically not efficient and will drain the Yeti fairly quickly.
