The plastic cases of my lamp is going sticky

Hi, can anyone help please. The plastic case of my Goal Zero Lighthouse has gone all sticky. Can anyone please tell me why. It is awful to touch as the stickiness gets on your hands.

Really? Is (was) the case rubberized? I‘m not sure, but the original Lighthouse are not rubberized and don‘t get sticky.
Do you once clean it with some detergent/cleanser?
