Is it okay to charge the Sherpa 100AC with the Boulder 100 Panels?

    Yes, it‘s ok. If the wattage from solar to much, the sherpa ignore it and charge with his maximum charging rate (about 60 watts).

    @GOAL ZERO ADMIN : Is this true for the Yeti 6000X too? (i.e. if I hooked up 8x 250W panels in parallel at 34V?) Would like to ideally be charging at 600W from sun up to sun down.

    Hi @cturner50,

    Although the charge controller will limit the input amount to 600W, we typically don't recommend using more than 1200W of rated power. Exceeding the amperage by too much can cause the charge controller to not work as intended and potentially lead to damage on the port.
