I'm using a yeti 200X as an uninterruptible power supply for a video surveillance system. It works and I like the long runtime on battery backup that the yeti provides, but will it wear the yeti out since it is under a constant load from the video surveillance system while simultaneously charging? The fan on the yeti is constantly running. My worry is that the circuitry of the yeti is going to be damaged at a faster rate than otherwise and so not really a cost effective solution over time.

Using the 200X as a UPS may wear out the battery faster.
The fans turn on anytime there is a power flow of more than 45W into or out of the Yeti to help cool it.
