how to change yeti 400 lithium battery?
My Yeti 400 lithium battery needs replacing. I have a new lithium battery. How do I replace the old one with it? Appears to be more complex than I thought and all I find online makes it look easy but does not look like the inside of the 400 lithium.

Replacing a Lithium battery is not something Goal Zero will advise on. Lithium batteries are dangerous and if they are installed incorrectly it could cause a fire. The Yeti 400 Lead Acid is an easy battery swap. Notice how they offer the lead acid replacement under replacement batteries for sale. There are no lithium batteries on that page.

I have asked them about lithium battery replacements before, and it is something they can do if you are in the United States. You would just have to send the unit in and pay for the replacement/labor/shipping. Might be worth giving them a call to see if they have any 400 lithium battery replacements.
