Charging one Yeti from Another
I have two Yetis: a 3000x and and a 6000x. The 6000X is connected to my home integration kit. Is it OK to use an HPP cable to connect the output of the 3000x to the input of the 6000x in order to supplement its power?
I know I can physically do it but I want to know if that would put either unit at risk.

I do not think that set up will work. Here are the specs for the charge controller on both the 3000x and 6000x.
- INPUT
- 1x High Power Charging port (AC or Solar): 600W Max (14-50V, up to 50A)
I believe the charge controller in the Yetis need to detect 14 volts in order to take a charge. Going from the 12v output on the 3000x will not get you to that 14 volts. Maybe use the 600 watt power supply with the 3000x? Plug the power supply into the AC port on the 3000x and then plug the HPP end into the 6000x HPP input.

Hmmm, that's a good point about the voltage. I will try the charger from the AC port instead. Thanks!
