Installing a HIK in a camper van
We're converting a Chevy Express Passenger van into a camper. I have the Yeti 1500x and the HIK installed at home. My plan is to install an HIK in the van, that the Yeti would plug into - just like at home.
With four circuits, one to a fridge outlet, one each for Left and Right side, one available for future power awnings. I discussed this with the electrician who installed the HIK, he recommended a Chair Lug, and grounding point on the frame. Other than that, it's pretty simple 10/2 wire to outlets.
Has anyone tried this? Am I under-thinking this?

We can only recommend installing the HIK in a permanent structure like a home by a licensed electrician. If you want to have an electrician or custom van builder you assume all risks and we will not provide guidance on how to do this.
