Charge controller or not

in SOLAR PANELS
I bought a 8mm blue ring to SAE cable. It has a tag on it saying to make sure i have a charge controller between the solar panel and the battery. If i have a GZ yeti and a GZ solar panel. Do I need an inline charge controller?

Please list the things you are trying to connect so we can help you. What is being connected to the SAE cable? Which Yeti model? Which Solar panel model(s)?

In general, Yetis have a built in charge controller. If you are using a Yeti with a GZ solar panel you should be fine. It would be helpful to know what solar panel and Yeti you have to help answer your question though.
