Is it safe to have Yeti1250 (or any other model) to charge with ignition on in a van ?

I just want to make sure not to do damage to the battery by overcharging it perhaps. Or does it have built in regulator so overcharging cannot happen ?

I wired it to switched terminal so it is being charged with key on.

Thank you for any feedback.

    Hi @vman,

How are you planning to charge it via the ignition? Do you have it connected to the HPP port on the Yeti 1250?

I am using the the round charging port at top left. I bought the car charging cable that plugs in 12V outlet in car, but I hard wired it to switched terminal so it would be charging with ignition on and engine running.
