Any issues/limits on plugging a hot water kettle to get boiling water?

Most resistive heat devices like space heaters and large electric kettles are going to require 1000 Watts of more, well above the 300W continuous limit of the 500X.
You might be able to heat just one cup with a smaller alternative. None of these items below have been tested for compatibility, you will have to experiment and find something that works for you:
- 19W(AC) https://www.amazon.com/Dimux-Coffee-Mug-Warmer-Thermostat/dp/B08HK468TG/
- 60-120W(12V) https://www.amazon.com/Electric-Camping-Portable-Cigarette-Lighter/dp/B0BBN2Z7MF/
- And this one is 300W(AC), might be too much: https://www.amazon.com/Diximus-300W-Portable-Immersion-Electric/dp/B07ZSYKJPR/
Does this help?

Here is another 12V single cup kind of option
72W (120W is the max for 500X's 12V ports) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088LGZHR1/
