How to determine run time of a CPAP device on YETI1000

I have a Phillips Dreamstation II with a draw of 6.67 amps at 12 volts. Instead of using the supplied 110 volt transformer, I have a 12 volt cable for it.

How do I compute how many days this power station will run the CPAP without recharging?

I am planning on camping for 4 days and will not be using the power station for any other applications.

Thanks

    Hi @RJS,

To compute the run time of a device on a battery you use the formula below:

Watt hours of battery / watts of device = Hours of run time.

The Watt hour of the battery in this case is 1000 Watt hours. The 1000 in the Yeti 1000 represents the number of watt hours.

If you only have amps and voltage, you can calculate watts with the following formula:

    Amps X Volts = Watts

In this case, watts your device uses is 80.04. If you divide 1000 by 80.04, you get about 12.5 hours of run time on one charge on the Yeti 1000.
