New out of box Sherpa 100 AC screen died
My last Sherpa 100 AC finally died after almost 4 years of continuous use and accompanying me all over the world.
i bought 3 at the same time so I just went to the second one, cut the seals and opened the box. I plugged it into a Anker USCC PD charger and screen came on and showed the normal charge info. I walk away for two hours and come back and the screen is blank. No amount of power / reset shows anything. Plugging in a usbc cable to an iPhone and there is no charge.
if I hold the power and AC button the AC blue light comes on and attaching a charger results in my iPhone drawing power. Here is a pic with AC led on but not screen. I think I can hear fan running.
Please help. My next step is disassembly with an oscilloscope and logic analyzer. I’d prefer not to do that.
UPDATE: USB A charging works as well. Just not USBC or Screen.
