Sherpa 100ac problem with usb c pd

Hi,

When connected my new windows laptop to either of the 2 usb c pd on the 100ac, my laptop gets charged at around only 20W, instead of 55 to 60W. The same ports charge other devices and laptops at proper 55 to 60W rate.

Is there a reason and a fix for this?

    Hi @Sreen

    Do you know if there is a setting on the laptop that might allow for faster charging? The Sherpa doesn't push power into devices. The devices pull power from the Sherpa so they are the deciding factor of how much power flows. What is the state of charge on the laptop when you are seeing the 20w of input?

    Laptop was at 70%, it is Lenovo ThinkPad.

    Mot aware of any settings on Laptop, in fact I was asked to post here for laptop settings when I called Goal Zero technical support.

    We don't have any laptop settings, but it is possible someone in the community may have a similar laptop as you. I would suggest finding out with Lenovo to see if there are any settings you can change on the laptop that would allow a faster charge.
