How do I update Link firmware?

I was told prior to purchasing that the latest firmware resolves the smart alternator charging issue.
The app allows me to update the Yeti 1500x firmware (now 1.8.0) but the link firmware is greyed out and shows 1.5.7.
How do I update this, because the Yeti only charges momentarily. And the wattage bounces all over. (Falsely MPPT tracking maybe?) Once I start driving it stops charging.

Which version of the Yeti link do you own? The best way to know is if it came with a power supply or not. If it did, that means you own the version 2 of the link, which is one you can update.
