It is much easier to access the front panel it it unit is placed on its back. Is there any problem with this?
The Yeti X's Lithium batteries won't spill or have problems like a lead acid battery would.
One reason I would hesitate to leave it on its back is the ports will be facing up making it easier for liquid or other spills to enter the ports on the front which would be the top in that orientation. Also flooding from below will contact PCBs sooner than they would in the upright position.
Does that help?
