240V system in the making?
Any plans by the GZ team to offer a beefy, 240V-capable system?
I'm interested in powering a 5hp (~3.7kw) electric sawmill off grid. It runs at 230V, ~20A rated, with a Locked Rotor Amperage (starting current) of ~125 amps.
Thanks!

P.s Example from a competitor's site, plus my wish list bulleted below:
- Make it GZ styling = beautiful
- NEMA 3R rated for outdoors 😎☔.
- Pallet fork friendly carry
- Optional casters for concrete/garage floor, or big pneumatic wheels for grassy terrain
- Nice large inverter and input capacity
- Marketed more towards off grid homesteaders, RV-ers, and farmers

Hi @Kilt,
At this time we do not have any products that can handle this but we are looking for options to do this in the future.

Hi @Kilt,
You would need to chain two separate Pro 4000 units. Each PRO 4000 comes with one inverter.

The setup will need 2 separate Yeti PRO 4000s, each one has a single 120V inverter. There will be at least one new smart combiner cable that will connect communications between the 2 yetis to allow them to sync AC output waves and produce AC power at either 240V up to 30A or 120V up to 60A depending on the inverter stack setting.

Just saw the newly launched PRO 4000 model and was getting all excited -- it's an absolutely gorgeous design!
I'm a little disappointed that it lacks 240V, but even so, it gives me hope!🤞

Hi @Kilt,
We are working on a cable that will allow you to chain two Yeti 4000 pro inverters to get 240V out of them. We are not sure what the time frame for release on that is but it will be coming soon!

Thanks for the reply.
By that do you mean chaining two separate PRO 4000 units, or does each PRO 4000 have two inverters already?

Any update on the cable? Very excited to get this rolling, especially with the killer deal today of 20% off the 4000x. Am hesitant to buy my second 4000x though until this is resolved.

Hi @GA_Jason,
No update at this point for the cable. It is still in development and although we know it is coming, we are unsure as to when exactly it will be released.
-
Standing by and ready for you to take my money on multiple Pro 4000s when that cable is done to enable 240v. No pressure! :) Until then, I will just keep using my old Yetis.

@GOAL ZERO ADMIN - any update on 240v Power+ cable to sync 2 Yeti Pro 4000s?

Hi @KyleW
Unfortunately we still do not have a hard date on when this will be available. It is currently still in testing. Thank you.
